Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Partnerships Manager to join The Children’s Trust.

The role of Senior Partnerships Manager is to shape how the charity works in partnership with different audience groups (in this case, companies) to bring people together to raise funds for The Children’s Trust.

You will proactively lead a team in developing and maintaining long-term, high value and multifaceted partnerships with companies to maximise income, value and influence for The Children’s Trust.  Utilising your skills and experience from the charity or commercial sector, you will lead a small team of partnerships managers to secure and manage a range of new and existing strategic partnerships and events.

Working alongside the Head of Volunteer Fundraising, you will strengthen business planning, pipeline and budgeting processes, and devise comprehensive audience-led stewardship plans, maintaining momentum and focus to achieve ambitious targets.

As our ideal candidate, you will be self-motivated and driven, with the ability to evidence strong leadership. You will be a skilled relationship-builder, and be creative in identifying new and building on existing partnerships. Significant experience of working within a relationship management function in the not for profit or commercial sector is essential, as well as expert sales and negotiation skills, with evidence of developing and stewarding high value partnerships with companies, volunteer groups and / or educational institutions.
