Tadworth, Surrey (On-site)
£32,500 - £36,500 per year pro-rata
Contract, 6 month contract (with the potential to extend), Part-time, Full-time
Job description

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Talent Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team, initially on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract with a view to extend/make permanent. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the role of Talent Marketing Manager is to create, implement, oversee and review a talent acquisition marketing plan. Designed to attract the best talent to The Children’s Trust in a competitive market, this will span all the organisation’s talent needs, across both clinical and non-clinical roles, from nurses and children’s support assistants, from IT support staff through to fundraisers. The post holder will partner closer with the Director of People & Culture and the Recruitment & Compliance Manager to best understand the organisation’s recruitment needs and priorities, and gain insight into the candidate market, challenges and existing recruitment channels to help inform the strategy.

In addition, the post-holder will contribute to the development, management and evolution of our employer brand, considering how our reputation as an employer and our employee value proposition be strengthened to support an effective talent acquisition plan and become an employer of choice.

Educated to degree level, or with at least two years’ demonstrable professional experience of developing and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns, we’re looking for an experienced marketing professional. You may have some recruitment marketing experience or have experience across other sectors; either way we’re looking for someone who is dynamic, creative and can work well in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be a natural collaborator with a keen eye for analytics, wanting to know what’s working well, and what perhaps isn’t. Equally, you’ll be interested in employer brand and employee value proposition and how both are optimised to ensure our recruitment efforts are effective.

If you would like to discuss the role and for a full candidate briefing pack please contact our recruitment team.

PLEASE NOTE: The Children's Trust Application Form MUST be completed and submitted, for your application to be considered.  As part of the shortlisting process, gaps in employment will be examined and will be further explored during the interview process.

Closing Date: Tuesday 8th February 2022

Interview Date: Thursday 17th February 2022

Strictly no agencies please.

As we often receive high levels of applicants for our roles, we regret that we will only be able to contact those applicants who are shortlisted for interview.  Therefore, if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of the closing date, please assume you have not been shortlisted for interview on this occasion.

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.

Boasting a beautiful 24-acre site in Surrey, we are located just outside of London, close to the M25 (accessible via Junction 8, A217 to Tadworth) and easily accessible via National Rail, by way of: Clapham Junction, Sutton and Epsom.

The work we do is highly rewarding, and in addition to an attractive salary, we offer a valuable range of benefits, including, adoption pay, time off for fertility treatment, enhanced paternity leave, paid carers leave, time out days for those experiencing menopause symptoms, time off for gender reassignment, and much more. We also offer additional annual leave days for those with long service, with entitlements ranging from 35 to 41 days (including bank holidays) depending on your length of service. Other benefits include: free on-site parking; a staff shuttle service from Coulsdon South train station to Tadworth Court; subsidised cafeteria; on-site staff accommodation (subject to availability); the ability to retain your NHS pension (where applicable) or the opportunity to join an alternative scheme; and the opportunity to develop and implement your expertise in an environment that is as unusual in its beautiful historic nature, as it is unique in its state-of-the-art facilities.

The Children’s Trust is fully committed to protecting children and young people.  All posts at The Children's Trust are subject to an enhanced DBS check.  If you are applying to The Children's Trust, and are already registered with the DBS update service, this will speed up the recruitment process significantly.

The Children’s Trust has a duty of care to minimise the risk of all infectious diseases to the vulnerable and extremely vulnerable children and young people in our care, as well as our employees and volunteers. As a result, we require staff to provide a valid NHS Covid Pass (or proof of Covid vaccinations or medical exemption) for all roles at Tadworth Court and in the Brain Injury Community Service. We also expect staff to have taken or be willing to take relevant immunisations required by the role to protect them against infectious diseases, (unless you are medically exempt).

At The Children’s Trust we recognise how important it is to have leadership that reflects the children, young people and families that we support. We also recognise that staff, comprised of a range of skills, backgrounds and experiences will help us to better understand the needs of those we support, and how we can best represent their interests. We, therefore, particularly welcome applications from disabled people, individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds and those from other under-represented groups. The Children’s Trust is committed to achieving equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) across all levels of the organisation.
