Job description


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Adviser to join an international not-for-profit organisation for a 12-month fixed term contract working part-time (21 hours per week) to provide commercial and contract law support to The Climate Group, update the organisation’s suite of templates and formalise the contract management framework and its processes.

The Legal Adviser will play a key role between the project, governance and finance teams, working across the organisation to ensure the successful deployment of legal and contractual arrangements by leading on contract administration, reviewing and drafting agreements, communicating with parties to negotiate and resolve problems and address team and partner information requests, and ensuring that contract compliance standards are understood and applied across the organisation. As well as providing the business with ad hoc legal advice as and when needed, you will be identifying and mitigating legal risk and keeping abreast of regulatory and market developments that will impact the business and reviewing and drafting associated policies and procedures.
