The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only drop-in centre in Brighton & Hove for 16-25-year-olds who are homeless or insecurely housed. We offer the vital practical and emotional support that young people who are experiencing homelessness need to get their lives back on track. We are a small, dynamic charity, with over 20 years’ experience of working in the community to deliver positive outcomes for our clients.
We are proud of and truly appreciate the support we have garnered from national funders such as Comic Relief, Garfield Weston Foundation and Lloyds Bank Foundation, alongside many local Trusts, corporate partners, community organisations and individuals. Thanks to the commitment of our supporters, we have negotiated the immediate financial challenges of Covid-19 and are now looking to the future.
We are recruiting for a Fundraising Officer to build on our strong track record to date. In this diverse and creative role, you'll have the chance to develop your skills in a supportive team culture and gain broad experience across the fundraising mix. Whilst there is a focus on researching and writing applications to Trusts and Foundations to meet annual targets, you will also be engaging with our corporate and community supporters, working closely with a part-time Fundraising Officer and other colleagues.
If you have excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach and at least two years’ experience of Trusts, corporate or community fundraising, we would love to hear from you.
We are continuing both office-based and remote working and envisage the postholder doing the same.
