CPD Coordinator (one year fixed term contract)

Central London, although working from home during the current pandemic

Salary circa £30,000

We are looking for an experienced coordinator to join the CPD team at the College of Optometrists. We’re currently working from home, but we’re usually based in central London and support flexible working.

If you have experience working in the not for profit sector, great communication skills and attention to detail, a passion for systems, data and online learning and a desire to work in a small but very busy team, then this is the perfect role for you.
 
You will be working with the CPD manager and Head of CPD and you will be providing governance and support services for DOCET’s online learning programme and help to set up and maintain the College-wide CPD systems to meet the regulator’s audit standards. 

This is a varied role which requires excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. You will need to have experience of setting up and maintaining online filing systems, using databases such as Dynamics as well as Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook to a high standard.

Main Duties
1. Support CPD Manager by:
 Preparing papers for DOCET Council and Executive Committee and any other
meetings eg agendas and reports
 Providing support for DOCET Council and Executive Committee and any other
meetings including taking minutes
 Establishing and maintaining a relationship with DOCET funding bodies and
stakeholders by sharing and providing information
 Supporting the CPD manager with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting compiling
reports from raw data from a range of sources
 Undertaking monthly review of user feedback from raw data on the LMS system and
contacting users in respect of comments and/or complaints
 Preparing copy for direct mailing and social media updates for marketing agency
 Proofing online content and marketing communications
 Supporting the CPD manager and events team in the preparation and postproduction of webinars
 Liaising with subject experts, speakers and agencies to set up meetings, chase
content and production schedule updates
 Providing support for DOCET by phone and email, responding to member enquiries
in collaboration and as cover for DOCET administrator.
