How to apply
TCV is looking for someone who can engage with communities in Eyres Monsell and South Wigston as part of the People's Health Trust funded Local People project.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual who can engage local people in identifying what positive changes they’d like to make in their community, prioritising issues and delivering solutions.
As the priorities which the project delivers are steered by the needs identified from the local community, the activities will vary from organising community events to gardening, music and the arts!
The Project Officer will have a key role in working with the committed and enthusiastic, established local community decision-making group and will administrate the associated community grant fund.
You’ll need to be confident in engaging and facilitating people and chairing meetings. You’ll also need to be capable of working independently and on your own initiative.
So, if you are passionate about empowering local people to address their local health, well-being and community issues, and want to be part of a vibrant TCV team, then this is the role for you.
This is a permanent position of 24.5 hours a week, which will include working some evenings and weekend.
