Job description

Our volunteers provide important support to bereaved families and others attending an Inquest at a Coroners Court. 

As a Volunteer Coordinator you will be responsible for managing 90 exisiting volunteers and recruiting and trainig more volunteers to deliver the Service in Coroner’s Courts in the South of England when required. 

You will need to be highly professional, very organised and able to manage your own workload.  Travel is involved and will cover a large geographical area and some overnight stays may be necessary depending on where the successful applicant lives.   A willingness to work on a flexible basis is essential.  The role is for 37.5 hours per week over 4 days.

Gegraphical area to be covered: Brighton & Hove; Essex; West Sussex; Mid Kent & Medway; North East Kent; City of London; South London; Inner London South; East London; Inner London West; Surrey
