In this exciting new role you will be working as part of a growing team delivering learning projects at The Ernest Cook Trust (an established educational charity). The Green Influencers Scheme aims to inspire young people to take part in environmental action and create environmental projects within their local communities.
Our vision at The Ernest Cook Trust (ECT) is for an environmentally engaged society. The mission of the Green Influencers Scheme is to assist young people to create deep, lasting and meaningful connections with the natural environment and through learning and skills building, help young people contribute to the local community through environmental action.
The Green Influencers Scheme was developed by ECT in 2019 as a match-funded project with #iwill Fund. The #iwill Fund was set up to promote youth social action and is funded by The Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and The National Lottery Community Fund. As an educational charity, ECT is delighted to be able to develop this environmental scheme where young people will have a direct influence.
This new role will be based at ECT Head Office in Fairford, where you will be the lead project officer developing and managing the Green Influencers Scheme project.
