Job description

We are looking for a highly organised and customer service driven Membership Engagement Coordinator to join our busy Communications team!

About the role

This is a broad and diverse new role focusing on ECPR’s membership community, key to the successful roll out of ECPR’s strategic goals for 2022 and beyond.

As a champion for our members, you will ensure that all opportunities to improve our activities, benefits and services, and the way we communicate them to our community, are maximised through everything we do. As such, you will play a leading role in the effective implementation of ECPR’s strategy to retain and grow membership.

You will contribute to the overall work of the Communications team, supporting members as needed to ensure ECPR always provides outstanding service to members, supporters, and other stakeholders.

Although the role has traditionally been office-based, throughout the current pandemic the ECPR team has been predominantly home-based. ECPR has worked hard to ensure systems are in place to appropriately support the physical and mental wellbeing of staff during remote working.

About you

We are looking for a highly organised and creative self-starter with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment, managing numerous projects and deadlines with ease. You will work equally well autonomously, collaboratively and under supervision.

This is a key role within the department, with plenty of scope for creativity and project-based working. Experience or knowledge of membership services and/or the higher education sector is desirable; candidates that can demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to developing within the role will be evaluated strongly.

This post would be well suited to a proactive and professional problem-solver looking for a diverse role.
