The Eve Appeal is the UK's leading national charity funding research into, and raising awareness of, the five gynaecological cancers – womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal.
In this 12-month fixed-term role, you will focus on delivering an exceptional supporter experience – deepening relationships and maximising overall value – across a range of supporters. This role works across Individual Giving (including In Memory and Legacy), Community fundraising and Sporting Events & Challenges. This is an incredible opportunity to develop/strengthen a strong understanding of best practice across these disciplines.
You will also be directly responsible for delivering the marketing of our Public Fundraising activity and working with the Public Fundraising Manager to meet agreed targets. This will involve Facebook advertising, email campaigns and print newsletters and appeals.
We have a strong Public Fundraising programme – responsible for two thirds of our income – and this is an exciting time to come on board and build on our success and further grow and future-proof the programme.
You will benefit from an experienced and supportive line manager, a culture open to change and new thoughts and experiences, and a team committed to delivering the best fundraising we can, which will greatly aid your development as a fundraiser.
This role could suit a proven Public Fundraising/Direct Marketing Officer or someone with transferrable skills looking to make the step into fundraising in the charity sector.
The Eve Appeal is striving to create a workplace that reflects the communities we seek to serve and in which everyone feels empowered to be themselves and work together to drive positive change. No formal qualifications are needed for this role, and we encourage everyone with the appropriate skills, experience and potential to apply.
Due to the time-sensitivity with filling this role, we may shortlist and interview on a rolling basis so encourage all candidates to apply as soon as practical.
To apply for this role, please send your CV and cover letter (of no more than 2 sides of A4) demonstrating your suitability in line with the person specification. Only applications including a cover letter will be considered.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
