Fairtrade Foundation are recruiting for a Programme Development Manager to support the implementation and growth of the Fairtrade programmes and expertise portfolio. The role will require providing technical and administrative project management of key projects held within the Programmes and Partnerships team, providing sound research and writing on a variety of topics, and ensuring knowledge management and communications of our work.
The ideal candidate will need to have a good technical understanding of international development approaches covering pro-poor strategies to agricultural and private sector growth. Excellent research and writing skills and programme or project management experience is considered essential. Experience in a developing country context will be considered a particular advantage. You will be working closely with colleagues within and across teams, as well as in other countries and so good team working experience within an office environment and ability to work independently is important. The busy environment requires excellent organizational and prioritisation skills.
