Join The Fairtrade Foundation as Senior Media & Communications Manager and you’ll be part of an ambitious development organisation committed to tackling poverty and injustice through trade. We want you to use your experience to increase awareness, promote our work and enhance the effectiveness of our campaigns through mainstream broadcast, print digital and social media as well as trade, stakeholder, and other specialist media outlets.
You will have proven experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of media strategies to achieve national or international media coverage. You’ll also have proven experience of working in a busy press office and dealing directly with journalists in order to achieve hard hitting stories. You’ll be able to create media packages for different outlets and organise events, as well as the ability to manage media partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
With the Media & Communications Team at the heart of promoting the understanding of our work, you will be highly creative, energetic and passionate member of the team. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, proven project management skills, as well as great interpersonal negotiation and diplomatic skills in dealing with media, press offices and campaigns.

Salary: £40,490 per annum
