About The Felix Project
The Felix Project is a London charity working to end hunger and food waste. We collect surplus food from supermarkets, wholesalers and other food suppliers right across the commercial food industry – food that is fresh and nutritious but cannot be sold for various reasons. We deliver this food free of charge to charities and schools. Every week the food we redistribute provides wholesome meals for the elderly, the homeless, people with mental health issues, refugees and asylum seekers and vulnerable families and children. Thousands of people volunteer their time with The Felix Project so that, for every £1 donated we are able to deliver £12 worth of good food to people in need.
We have two warehouse operations based in Park Royal, West London and Enfield, North London. We also run a central London operation. Our Head Office is based in Park Royal. We want good food go to good causes.
Since the start of Covid we have seen demand for food from our many charity partners rocket, and now we are sourcing and delivering food for more than 500,000 meals every week (a 300% increase since March). With our talented and energetic workforce we are now committed to make an even greater impact on food poverty by growing this to 2 million meals per week (100 million meal per year) by 2023.
As part of this ambitious plan we have committed to Microsoft 365 infrastructure and we already utilise Outlook, SharePoint, Teams and PowerBI, with users established on our Azure AD. With the help of Accenture and Avanade we have implemented Dynamics 365 for Field Service, managing our receipts and deliveries of food in our fleet of vans using a PowerApps Portal to enable live updates for our volunteer drivers. Now, building on this we want to extend the use of dynamics into our Fundraising and Volunteering teams by migrating data and processes from proprietary cloud-based systems onto a single Dynamics 365 CRM platform, and then implementing world-class marketing tools to help drive our need to attract more great people and resources.

We're looking for a Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our busy team. Working from home and our depots, you'll be responsible for supporting, managing and developing our M365 platform. Working with colleagues and external consultants, you'll take responsibility for ensuring our ecosystem is in great order and delivering measurable benefits for our business and our customers.
This newly created position would suit an experienced IT Support Analyst / Systems Administrator / Service Desk Engineer with experience of supporting Microsoft 365 / Office 365 and related technologies such as Exchange and Active Directory in a startup or SMB environment. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years hands on experience.
You will have strong tenant level experience of implementing and managing Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange). You will also have a good understanding of PowerPlatform, (including PowerBI, PowerApp and PowerAutomate) and some experience of managing Microsoft compliance and security. Experience of the governance and best practice around cloud infrastructure and applications would be an advantage.
You will support the business by taking responsibility for the day to day operation and resilience of all business systems, including resolving support issues and overseeing our external helpdesk and support partner. This key role demands exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to drive issues to resolution whilst being able to prioritise competing demands and cope in pressurised scenarios. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to support users in diagnosing and resolving issues in the most effective ways.
This is a 1 year fixed-term contract. In that time you'll encounter a wide range of valuable experiences for your professional development. Plus, we've some exciting plans going forward, so who knows what the future may bring?
- Good experience as administrator of Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365
- Experience supporting and training users, developing system policy, roadmapping and agile development
- Strong skills and experience in Office 365 applications
- Understanding of Microsoft Licensing
- Experience in the analysis, documentation and re-design of business processes
- Competence in PowerBI, PowerApps and PowerAutomate
- Experience of Microsoft Visual Studio, Common Data Model and Nonprofit Accelereator would be an advantage
- Work with external consultants to make recommendations towards service improvements and standards
- Oversee all IT support issues via IT ticketing system
- Monitor trends and proactively respond to issues to support the business
- Lead in planning software updates ensuring capacity to delivery
