Job description
Job title: Employment Coach (Prison Education)

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Location: England (Nationwide opportunities)

Job type: Full Time, Permanent

Role responsibilities for the Employment Coach (Prison Education)

* Provide pre-employability and job search support to ex-offenders, individuals at risk of offending, and those NEET (not in education, employment or training)
* Deliver information, advice and guidance to offender learners in custody
* Offer high quality CV and interview support to learners/job seekers
* Give high quality coaching
* Build a learner's/job seeker's self-confidence, self-esteem, and motivation to help them achieve in the world of work
* Liaise with employers to arrange interviews and get feedback on candidates
* Identify skills and qualities in a learner to match appropriately with vacancies

Requirements for the Employment Coach (Prison Education)

* An IAG Level 4 qualification (or higher) to work on our new Prison Education contracts
* Experience coaching and supporting in CV, job search, interview processes
* Proven ability to manage a case load
* Experience of working and being based in a prison is preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build professional relationships
* Supportive and self-motivated
