We currently have a number of exciting opportunities for Health and Wellbeing Practitioners to join our teams at HMP Brixton and HMP Wormwood Scrubs.

Job description for Health and Wellbeing Practitioner

As the Health and Wellbeing Practitioner you will provide group session interventions for clients with health and substance related issues.

You will utilise your specialist facilitation group work skills, knowledge and experience, taking a rounded approach and working closely with the team leader to help our clients better manage their physical and/or mental health and wellbeing through the services we provide.

This role is vital in improving the links between the Health and Wellbeing service and the service users within the prison. You will contribute to the delivery of various Health and Wellbeing groups and programmes for clients.

Requirements for the Health and Wellbeing Practitioner

* Must have Level 3 in Counselling
* Must have a thorough understanding of CBT
* Must be suitably qualified to deliver a therapeutic intervention
* Knowledge of the criminal justice sector
* You will be results and outcome-orientated
