The Fostering Network’s Mockingbird programme is an innovative method of delivering foster care using an extended family model which provides sleepovers and short breaks, peer support, regular joint planning and training, and social activities. Mockingbird improves the stability of fostering placements and strengthens the relationships between carers, children and young people, fostering services and birth families.
We are excited to be seeking to appoint three new project workers to support our dedicated Mockingbird project team and the expansion of the model throughout the UK. Through this role you can help us make a difference to the lives foster families and of children in foster care by providing guidance, support to fostering services to enable them to understand, implement and sustain the model.
