Job description

Supporting up to twenty women from diverse backgrounds, nations and cultures from the ages of 60-105, this is an exciting opportunity in the almshouse sector for you to use your housing management & support skills to establish, maintain and develop an environment where all of our residents can live independantly in a safe and supportive environment. 

You will have the ability and empathy to identify areas of need and the confidence and creativity to put in place appropriate support solutions. You will have sound knowledge of the benefit system, support planning, safeguarding and health & safety compliance and be able to use your energy and creativity to engage with residents and the wider community.

You will be highly organised and a meticulous record-keeper and be able to plan and deliver social activities and initiatives to foster community spirit and combat isolation/marginalisation. This is a varied and challenging role where you will make a tangible difference to people's lives, and a hugely rewarding one for a caring, energetic and efficient Scheme Manager who can build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally and establish foundations of best practice from which to grow and develop our charity.

Training/learning will be offered as appropriate.
