(points 6 – 17 on the GPEW pay scale)
30 hours per week; flexible working in line with the needs of the role will be expected.

Principal Roles and Responsibilities
- Diary Management
Manage the diary, travel and other work-related practical arrangements for Natalie Bennett, including keeping track of expenses, declarations and other compliance requirements, liaising with other members of Green Party House of Lords, head office and local party staff and volunteers.
- Communications Management
Respond effectively, courteously and where appropriate independently to correspondence and enquiries from the public, the media, fellow Lords members and other politicians, Green Party members, lobbyists and pressure groups, referring to Natalie or others when necessary.
Maintain and update material on Natalie's website, Facebook, Linked In and other social media and distributing communications on behalf of Natalie under her direction (possibly including assembling a newsletter).
- Stakeholder Management
Work with other Green Party parliamentary staff to ensure Natalie has, both orally and in writing, essential materials for Lords questions, briefing notes, speeches both in the House and outside, articles and press releases. Ensuring efficient data and file management of materials.
- Personal Assistance
Thinking ahead about the way in which Natalie can be as effective as possible, and acting accordingly.
Progress issues that Natalie has taken up through liaison with local and national bodies, government agencies, lobby groups, etc.
