Job description

The Green Team delivers high impact and life-changing opportunities through active outdoor learning, environmental volunteering and therapeutic connection to nature. We provide opportunities for children and young people to take part in a range of programmes, discovering and exploring the countryside, learning about the natural environment and their place in it, developing new skills and making improvements for the benefit of wildlife and people.

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in improving the sustainability and financial stability of the Green Team through broadening income streams, developing partnerships, raising organisational profile and demonstrating lasting impact.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a proven track record who can build on the strong brand, aspirations and values of the Green Team to create new opportunities for developing the long-term sustainability of the organisation. You will identify, generate and grow charitable income to maintain service delivery and development in line with our strategic objectives.

As a member of a small staff team you will take an active role in all aspects of the organisation to ensure quality services are delivered. The postholder will need to develop a thorough understanding of the ethos and aims of the Green Team, our programmes, services and strategic developments.
