Job description
You will join us as a Sessional Trainer and will deliver the Haven Wolverhampton’s training offer (internal & external) including the delivery of the induction programme and training on the subject of VAWG.
You will deliver training to groups, face to face and virtual training (webinar setup), and will also play a key part in the training of THW new staff members, students, volunteers, Board members and the development of existing staff, as well as providing a wide range of training for external organisations and professional groups.

Sessional Trainer Responsibilities:

- Work under the direction and supervision of our Training Manager to deliver core training as part of The Haven Wolverhampton’s induction programme.
- Deliver external training to a wide variety of professional partners and community organisations, to
- prove awareness, recognition and response to domestic abuse.
- Work closely with the Training Manager and assist with establishing joint working initiatives and protocols which support our internal and external training delivery.
- Deliver comprehensive and engaging training relevant to the services we deliver. Training to be of a high quality and applicable to a wide range of audiences demonstrating a positive impact on practice.
- Assist in the development of new learning and development opportunities. To contribute to the design, development and production of training on all aspects of violence against women and children.
- Keep up to date with research and developments to ensure knowledge is kept up to date via the Training Manager.
- Conduct and analyse evaluations, feeding back to our Training Manager to identify areas of development and improvement.
- Promote good practice and abide by all The Haven Wolverhampton’s policies and procedures. Responsibility for accurate and day to day maintenance of the Sales Ledger.
