The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK. We are currently seeking to recruit an Events Officer to work with our Events Manager to deliver a cutting-edge programme of strategic events for the health and care sector.
We are looking for someone who is motivated by the innovative use of events as an impactful communications channel to speak to and with an influential audience. Intellectually curious and experienced within a comparable role, you aspire to develop a career in communications and/or strategic events.
You will possess excellent event planning and organisational skills and have experience of working with a range of stakeholders including VIP speakers, delegates and suppliers. The role is content-focussed and so health care sector and/or public policy experience is an advantage. Similarly, given the current events environment, a high level of competence in the use of Zoom Webinar and other virtual events platforms is desirable.
You will be highly motivated and a self-starter, capable of taking responsibility for your own events and you will be able to manage a workload of multiple simultaneous projects with an excellent attention to detail on each.
You will be working as part of a lively, dynamic and integrated communications team, where there is scope to work across the department and contribute to wider strategic plans and outputs.
