The Health Foundation is an independent charity working to improve the quality of health care in the UK. The Data Analytics team conducts high-quality research and analysis, and collaborates with the NHS to develop approaches to improve health care that can be applied at local and national levels.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to support and deliver the in-house data analytics programmes, with a focus on developing and delivering a new strategic initiative to build a collaborative network of analytical teams across the UK. As well as some direct line management, you will provide coordination and leadership to partners at the local sites and manage other external partnerships.
Working with the Assistant Director and the Senior Analytical Lead, you will be required to apply innovative programme management principles to ensure the design, delivery and lead a major strategic initiative as part of a delivery group. Additionally, you will work closely with the team to help achieve the overall goals of the strategic initiative, the data analytics directorate and the strategic goals of the Health Foundation.
With a keen interest in turning data linkages and analysis into research that can help address key areas in health policy our ideal candidate will have a successful track record of working with analytical teams, or have experience working in the health and social care sector with an understanding of how analytical teams work. With a strong and demonstrable commitment to team working you should be able to build strong relationships quickly and should enjoy working flexibly across teams, able to think creatively and make connections to the wider work of the data analytics team and the Health Foundation.
