The Hollow Lane Club is seeking a creative, dynamic and compassionate CEO to take the charity into the next stage of development.
Who we are:
The Hollow Lane Club supports children and young people with complex disabilities through a year round programme of clubs and activities. These clubs provide opportunities for children and young people to socialise and engage in fun and recreational activities with support and guidance from our play workers. Activities are run at Ellen Tinkham School in Exeter and at Bidwell Brook School in Dartington. We are an Ofsted recognised ‘Outstanding’ provider and have been running specialised clubs for children with disabilities since 2001.The Hollow Lane club is a registered charity (1186520). We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.
We are looking to appoint a well-organised, highly literate and confident individual with initiative to take responsibility for the role of Chief Executive Officer.
The CEO of The Hollow Lane Club, will:
Oversee the strategic direction of The Hollow Lane Club and promote its interests, aims and values.
Knowledge of the charity or voluntary sector with specific understanding of health, education and social care.
Develop good working relationships and ensure systems and structures are in place for the Trustees to fulfil The Hollow Lane Club’s statutory responsibilities.
Provide inspirational leadership to colleagues empowering them to exceed expectations and ensuring a culture of collaboration.
Act as an ambassador for The Hollow Lane Club ensuring a high-profile presence and build key external partnerships with stakeholders, grant funders and potential partners.
Ensure the ongoing sustainability of the Hollow Lane Club through the identification and development of new funding and income generation opportunities.
Be responsible for all activities relating to staff resourcing, administration, and financial management.
