Job Description

The Honeypot Children’s Charity -Regional Fundraising Manager

The Honeypot Children’s Charity is the National Young Carer Organisation which has been providing high quality, transformational, support for young carers aged 5-12 for nearly 25 years.  As the go-to organisation for organisations seeking support for young carers, including local authorities, Social Services, School Welfare Officers and GP’s, Honeypot supports over 3,500 children annually who have all been referred to us.

With the need to support even more young carers Honeypot is now expanding its dynamic and collegiate fundraising team to help meet our ambition of providing expanded support services to more young carers.  The Regional Fundraising Manager role is crucial to our expansion. There is massive untapped potential within the region covered by the Fundraising Manager and this is your chance to make your mark and make a difference to the lives of many disadvantaged young carers.

Your role will be to work with the Director of Income and Communications to devise and deliver a high performing for income generation in the region. You will be a real people person, a great communicator, an income generator and a make it happen type of person. In return you will witness the difference your work makes to the lives of young carers on a regular basis.

You will need to develop systems to ensure a high quality of service to our supporters, whilst also carrying out research to grow the programme.

You will also be managing a Regional Fundraising Officer and working closely with our children’s services teams to develop high quality proposals to secure funding from Corporates, Trusts and Foundations, Major Donors and larger community events and groups.

Attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills and, above all, be a strong, positive team player committed to the aims of The Honeypot Children’s Charity.

We are interested in hearing from Fundraisers who either currently occupy a similar level role or are now ready to make the move to a more senior role. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
