Who Are We? The Jumbulance Trust is a small Charitable Trust with 2 unique specialist vehicles, part coach part ambulance, which are specifically designed and equipped to make it possible for those with serious illness or disability to travel throughout the UK and Europe on holiday, short break, Pilgrimage or a day trip.
Each “JUMBULANCE” can accommodate a maximum of 21 and 26 respectively with tracking to accommodate up to 6 wheelchairs and/or 5 beds, has a heavy duty lift, large accessible washroom, full kitchen and extensive medical equipment

The Grants & Trust Fundraiser position is a new role, perfect for someone looking for a step up into grant fundraising or looking for a second role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our grant and trust fundraising programme, building on the work done over the last few years. The role will require building strong working relationships with new corporate partners, donors, community, fundraisers and external group leaders to create a sustainable income stream as part of our future investment in fundraising. Reporting to the General Manager (GM) the Grant and Trust Fundraiser will be responsible for developing our trust fundraising capability; that will include but not be limited to, investigating, researching and constructing applications for new funding. The successful candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure we demonstrate a compelling case for support to potential donors. To be successful in this role you will have experience and/or understanding of raising income from trusts, foundations, corporate partners and major grants together with excellent research, communication and relationship development skills. You will be working with a small, yet dynamic, team used to taking both initiative and responsibility. During the first 6 - 12 months, the successful candidate will be expected to establish themselves in the new role and develop our trust fundraising strategy. Following successful completion of a probation period, there will also be flexible working opportunities. Main role responsibilities:
• Lead on prospect research (trusts, corporate partners,foundations and major donors)
• Contribute to our other fundraising strategy activity and initiatives
• Ensure reporting, monitoring and evaluation processes are robust and provide the necessary information to GM
• Develop a case for support that meets the needs of our target groups, in line with our aims, objectives and vision
• Work closely with the team and translate information accurately to ensure effective communication

This is a part time role with a salary of £25-£32,000 pro rata.
Home based role but will require face to face meetings with the GM on a regular basis (monthly)
