£35,253 - £42,096 per year
Contract, 12-month fixed-term contract, full-time (35 hours p/w), Full-time
Job description

Play your part in improving leadership in the health sector

If you’re a skilled and enthusiastic project officer, you could be part of a highly respected charity that’s working to improve health: The King’s Fund. We help to shape policy and practice through research and analysis; develop individuals, teams and organisations; promote understanding of the health and social care system; and bring people together to learn, share knowledge and debate. Our vision is that the best possible care is available to all.

This is an exciting time to join us. Our leadership work already enjoys an outstanding reputation in the NHS and beyond. As Project Officer, you’ll support our delivery work across a range of clients, co-ordinating activities and liaising with stakeholders. You will create and manage project plans, supporting the senior team in multiple change projects, lead on key client accounts and projects; building and tracking budgets, liaising with stakeholders.

To join us, you need to be organised and self-starting. Good with people and great in a team, you’ll work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Good communication and numeracy skills mean you’re articulate both on paper and in person, with the ability to present complex issues. You combine these talents with a degree (or equivalent), a keen eye for detail and a flexible approach. Knowledge of the English health and social care system would be an advantage but isn’t essential.

Here at the Fund, we actively encourage applicants from underrepresented backgrounds, people from Black and ethnic minority backgrounds, those with disabilities and from the LGBT+ community. We want people to bring their unique blend of experiences, backgrounds, perspectives and knowledge as we recognise that diversity makes us stronger.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, you may initially need to work remotely. Once our premises in London fully reopen, you will be expected to spend some of your time working in the office.

How to apply

Please note that in order to apply, you must have documented proof of your right to live and work in the UK. No agencies please. CVs will not be accepted as applications. Applications must be submitted using The King’s Fund application form.
