The Mustard Tree provides a range of support to other small charities and projects, including fundraising services. Additional hours may therefore become available for the Fundraising Officer on a temporary basis. The main purpose of the role is to ensure financial sustainability for the Mustard Tree, Hope into Action and Readifood, by carrying out fundraising activities and developing strategies to build supporter networks.

The key tasks are:

We are looking for a candidate with experience of successful income generation, developing applications to a range of trusts and foundations, who has outstanding written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and excellent IT & research skills. The successful candidate will also have the ability to craft simple, compelling messages, have good time management and be able to juggle multiple deadlines. You will also have an understanding or experience of how to work within Church structures and a demonstrable commitment to the ethos and values of MTF.

Please send a CV and covering letter to the HR team detailing why you are suitable for the role.

Interviews will be held on Tuesday 17th & Wednesday 18th July 2018 at our offices in Reading
