We believe that all young people should have the confidence and skills they need to live, learn, work and achieve. Youth workers help to unlock a young person’s potential, giving them safe spaces to explore their identity, experience decision-making and develop key skills.

We want young people to get access to the youth workers they need, so we seek to secure youth work through policy and advocacy and support youth workers to perform at their best.

We’re currently looking for an Executive Assistant to join us at an exciting point in our development and provide a high level of support to our Chief Executive Officer.

The Role

As an Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will provide an efficient support service to our organisation and CEO.

This varied role will involve: 

- Planning and managing the CEO’s daily schedule 
- Making travel and accommodation arrangements 
- Administering all Board and Committee meetings 
- Providing administrative support to the Chief Operations Manager and wider senior leadership team 
- Developing and maintaining effective information management systems 

About You 

To join us as our Executive Assistant to the CEO, you’ll need: 

- Experience of working at a senior administrative level, including experience of providing a PA service to director level
- Previous experience of organising meetings and events and ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office
- Excellent telephone skills and a professional, courteous and helpful manner
- Great written and verbal communication skills 
- At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent)
