Job description

nia provides a wide range of services for women and children who have experienced sexual and domestic violence.  The organisation has three main aims: to provide services for women, girls and children who have experienced men’s violence; contributing to ending male violence against women and girls, and to inform and influence policy and public awareness.

The WiSER partnership provides specialist advocacy for women whose experience of violence (VAWG) intersects with multiple and severe disadvantage.

We will work with a small caseload of women who are frequently excluded from mainstream services and/or find it hard to engage with support, which increases their vulnerability and risk. Our assertive outreach approach, working across the borough of Haringey, will enable women to access support, increase their self-esteem, reduce their risk and make safer choices.
