You will be managing the Society's PR activity, maintaining Facebook and Twitter accounts, providing training to Branch Facebook admins and supporting a variety of marketing and communications initiatives.
Although some of this job includes maternity cover, there are additional communication developments being worked on including volunteering, promoting Oddfellows Travel and other third party benefits.
The Oddfellows has a network of 115 Branches throughout the UK, run mostly by volunteers and supported by a professional team in Manchester. Their aim is to be the lifestyle membership of choice for the over 50s by helping them more out of life with a compelling range of social events, care support and benefits, delivered through a thriving national Branch network.
We are looking for someone with excellent writing skills, who is well organised, self-directed and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will have a qualification in either marketing, public relations, media or digital communications and 3+yrs demonstratable experience.
