2 year full time contract

The Ogden Trust is a charitable Trust, supporting physics education. The Trust's aim is to maximise the opportunities available to young people in all parts of the UK's educational system and is now focused on science, particularly physics. The Trust supports a range of initiatives, programmes and projects to promote the teaching and learning of physics.

As Programme Officer, you will be responsible for delivering our programmes to schools across England. You will work with the Head of School Partnerships and Chief Executive to develop and improve the programmes to better support the Trust’s objectives, while listening to the needs of the schools and teachers involved.

You will need to have a good understanding of the education system in England and an enthusiasm for enabling young people to achieve. You will be regularly visiting schools and must be able to build a good working relationship with teachers, as well as being an ambassador for the Trust and its values in schools.

Educated to degree level, or equivalent, you will possess experience of working in a programme administration and events organisation, with strong communication skills and organisational skills.  A track record of building successful working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, particularly schools and teachers and the ability to work on your own initiative are valuable.

The Ogden Trust is committed to equal opportunities and values diversity in its workforce.
