Please send your completed application form together with a supporting statement outlining your motivation for the role via email to [email protected] or alternatively, by post to The Chair of Trustees, The Phoenix Group for Deaf Children and Young Adults, Phoenix Centre, 2-6 The Hyde, Stevenage, Hertfordshire. The Phoenix Group for Deaf Children and Young Adults (Charity No: 1180870) has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and inspirational leader to become the CEO of our charity. Established over 15 years ago, The Phoenix Group supports and enhances the lives of deaf children, young adults and their families, utilising the Participation Model to deliver a series of training programs and activities aimed at developing confidence and communication in younger children, as well as practical life and employability skills for young people.
As the CEO, you will take responsibility for the leadership, service provision and strategic direction of the charity, driving our organisation forward following our recent success in securing new National Lottery Community Funding out to 2023, partly funding this role. We are a small Hertfordshire based charity extremely well established in our local community, with Trusted Charity (PQASSO) status, and strong relationships with other community groups and deaf charities. Further information about the role and the Phoenix Group, together with an application form, can be found on our website at ‘Support Us’ in the Phoenix website.
If you are someone who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of deaf children and young adults and have the vision and drive to lead a small but growing charity with a proven track record in fundraising, we would welcome your application.
