Our Financial Planning & Analysis team are looking for someone who is enthusiastic to become the new Assistant Finance Manager working with the Operations and Commercial teams.
The Financial Planning & Analysis function is responsible for strategic, commercial financial advice and financial performance management for the Trust including management accounting, financial bid support, budgeting, and forecasting activities. The team provide key analysis and insights for budget holders and senior leaders to inform decision making and drive effective, sustainable, and commercial planning.
This role has responsibility for commercial advice to management teams, input into business planning & budgeting, monitoring of financial, contractual, and operational performance, challenging senior teams as appropriate. Review of contract income accruals / deferrals, support for smaller local bids. Training budget holders to improve financial management & accuracy of monthly management accounts. The role will be responsible for the management of restricted funds locally. Knowledge of financial management within a charity is desirable.
You will initially be based from home and then based at one of our key centres with the opportunity to work flexibly. There will also be opportunities for you to work with Young People and witness the fantastic work of the Trust.
