Job description

JOB TITLE:                Event Manager

CONTRACT:              Fixed Term – 2 years

HOURS:                      Full time- 35 hours a week

DEPARTMENT:         Individual Fundraising & Events

REPORTING TO:       Head of Events            

LOCATION:                Manchester

SALARY:                £26,800 - £35,750 - (Starting Salary £26,800 to £28,290)


In this exciting and varied role, you will be part of the core team driving forward event delivery in Greater Manchester. We have recently launched a pioneering new campaign for Greater Manchester which will see the team responsible for delivering £6.1m of match funding over a two-year period. You will be responsible for delivering cultivation events to support the business development and philanthropy teams in securing funding towards this campaign.

You will work closely with the Head of Events, Head of Business Development and the Head of Philanthropy to create and implement your events strategy. You will collaborate with the North West Event Manager to maximize any opportunities for cross fertalisation of supporters from events across the North West.

You will need excellent relationship management skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels. You will be organised and a strong project manager, confident in solving problems, securing financial targets and take a creative approach to deliver outstanding events.
