Job description

Our Communications team is looking for an excellent writer who is creative and has strong project leadership skills and experience of dealing with the media, to become our new Head of Media Relations.  

You will create high quality and engaging communications to share with journalists, to raise awareness of the charity’s work, engage supporters and attract more young people to our programmes. The communications you develop will be used across multiple platforms, from our own website and social media channels, to briefings for journalists, partners and spokespeople.

This role is perfect for you if you have a track record of achieving successful national media coverage for events and campaigns and have led high profile media projects for similar organisations.

You will be able to work flexible hours and be based from home.

Note: This is a 6 months contract 

Why we need a Head of Media Relations:

This year we aim to support more than 70,000 young people through a range of proven programmes, with three in four achieving a positive outcome.
