Job Title: Operations Manager - Volunteering
Contract: 2 years (fixed term)
Hours: Full time- 35 hours a week

This year we will support more than 70,000 young people through a range of proven programmes, with three in four achieving a positive outcome.

In order to achieve this, we will need to fundamentally change our approach to volunteering, enabling more of our services to be delivered by volunteers, bringing them close to the heart of the organisation and improving the level of service we provide them.
This role has specific responsibility for developing, delivering and testing new volunteer interventions which will enable the Operations team in Greater Manchester to reach more young people and provide higher quality provision. You will work closely with colleagues in the Operations team to identify opportunities to better utilise volunteers and help develop bespoke resources and guidance to enable the opportunity to run. From helping our Operations teams engage more young people to take their first step with The Trust, to delivering one of our programmes entirely by volunteers, the role will be diverse. This role will also focus on evaluating the impact of new interventions and working with the Volunteering Development, National Operations and Service Design teams to share learning across the UK.
