This role can be based from any of our UK hubs.
We are looking for a Philanthropy Manager who will lead our Regional Mid-Level Giving Strategy, within the wider Philanthropy directorate, enabling us to grow our support for young people across the UK.
You will be a confident and driven self-starter who works well with others, spots opportunities and enjoys a fast-paced environment. You will be a supportive leader with line management responsibilities within the Regional Philanthropy team. The successful applicant will account manage their own portfolio of mid-level donors - Philanthropists and Trusts and Foundations- across the UK. Collaborating with the Heads of Philanthropy in each region, they will identify opportunities for growth and support with donor communications and stewardship opportunities.
You will be a strong and creative communicator with excellent verbal and written skills to develop compelling proposals and reports, as well as engaging donor newsletters. You will also be a team player with outstanding interpersonal skills, able to develop strong relationships both internally across our Operations and Philanthropy teams, as well as with our donors. Most importantly, this person must believe in The Trust’s work, live our company values and fit within our team’s positive, supportive and collaborative culture.
