As a Prince’s Trust Executive, you’ll engage and build quality relationships with young people, volunteers and partners and as an effective communicator and collaborator, you will thrive in both team and independent work. If you believe you have the passion and skills to help young people change their lives then we would love to hear from you!
Our Prince’s Trust Executives work with young people from every background, so we’re passionate about building a diverse workforce that represents the young people we support. We therefore welcome applications from everyone who meets the essential criteria for the role, if you’re not sure if you do, please feel free to apply as you’ll have the chance to fill in a supporting statement and let us know what you would bring to the table and if you have lived experience that will help our young people.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to engage in challenges with optimism and resilience and be adaptive and flexible – embracing change and innovation. Due to the pandemic, our North East ‘hub’ is currently only open part time so you will be working from home in the short term and must be able to motivate yourself in that environment, as well as be proactive about approaching external partners and young people. You will also need to be proficient in the use of (or quick to learn) virtual platforms like Microsoft Teams, both to engage with colleagues and support in the delivery of programmes to young people.
This role will support the recruitment of young people to our programmes, as well as managing key partner stakeholder relationships and supporting delivery. We are looking for candidates with experience and key skills in:
• Group session delivery to young people
• One to one support including employability
• Volunteer engagement
