Fixed Term Contract (until 29th March 2019 )
Full Time – 35 Hours per week
The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. We are committed to equality and valuing diversity.
The Get into programme aims to give young people aged 16 – 30 who are work-ready but do not have vocational skills, the opportunity to develop the relevant skills and/or experience to enable them to move into a sustainable job in a specific sector of work.
It is the Programme Executive's responsibility to deliver these programmes, working closely with Delivery Partners, in line with KPIs and targets. Programme Executives also provide employability skills and progression support to young people leaving the programme.
You will possess good interpersonal, written, verbal communication and IT skills. An ability to work with a wide range of external and internal customers along with excellent planning and organisational skills are essential.
The role will be based in the Prince’s Trust Birmingham office. The ability to travel across the West Midlands Region is essential.
The Prince's Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check.
A NOTE FOR RECRUITMENT AGENCIES

We reserve the right to change the closing date depending on the number of responses received. Please submit your application as soon as possible to ensure it is considered in the selection process. If you have a disability and can demonstrate that closing this post early would impact on your ability to submit an application in time, please contact our HR team to request arrangements for an application to be submitted within the original timeframe.
