Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Youth Development Lead working in and around the Solent area. Working on our personal development programmes, we are looking for an experienced Outdoor practitioner who can build effective relationships with hard to engage young people aged 16 - 25.

Although the role is home-based you will be expected to deliver face to face sessions with the flexibility needed to travel around the Solent area as well as to support residential work once this resumes.

You will be experienced in delivering a range of Outdoor Activities and personal development sessions to groups of young people both face to face and virtually.  You will be skilled at building rapport quickly with those that require additional support to engage in positive activity.

It would be great if you also had experience of supporting young people in one to one situations.

You will be comfortable working in outdoor, adventurous activities and in a residential environment with either NGB, Youth Work or Teaching qualifications.  Alongside this, you will also be confident with completing reports, risk assessments and other programme related paperwork.

This role is perfect for you if you are passionate about developing young people and giving them the tools to transform their lives.
