LocationYou will be based in our Birmingham hub but will travel across the West Midlands

 

The Prince's Trust specialises in helping young people develop the confidence and skills to live,learn and earn, and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic youth worker to join our dynamic team. This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace and is as passionate as us about transforming the lives of young people.

 

Objectives:

You will work directly with young people, volunteers and partners to deliver programmes and activities to support and encourage 11-30 year olds. Working as part of a team within Birmingham, you will work with clear objectives to 'connect', 'progress'and help 'transform' the lives of young people who need us most.

 

Responsibilities:

  • You will focus on our digital delivery across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
  • Develop relationships within the corporate sector to secure employment opportunities for our Young People within this field.
  • Split your time between delivering programmes and being in the office planning courses, maintenance checks of kit training, team meetings etc.

 

Requirements:

To support our delivery requirements across Birmingham, we are particularly interested in receiving applications from individuals with some of the following:

  • A good understanding of the digital tech sector in the Midlands.
  • To be able to engage in challenges with optimism and resilience.
  • Adaptive and flexible, ready to embrace change and innovation.
  • Natural and effective communicator, passionate about delivering excellent customer service and making the right decision for young people.
