Job description

Are you exceptionally well organised, with excellent attention to detail?  Are you able to prioritise, communicate and work with a variety of audiences with a passion for youth empowerment and entrepreneurship?

QCT’s vision is a world where young people are equal partners in driving change. QCT’s mission is to champion, fund and connect young leaders in the Commonwealth who are working hard to change the world. QCT shares their stories, gives them a platform to amplify their ideas and, together with the young people it works alongside, inspires others all around the world to join in. QCT is slowly building a network of young people around the world. Members of the network will help inform the direction of the organisation in future and will work with staff more closely as time goes on. Given the vision, collaboration is essential at QCT. Staff and Board members work together with purpose, entirely aligned behind the mission. Integrity, respect, optimism and responsiveness, alongside collaboration, are the values that run throughout the work of the organisation. QCT looks to all colleagues to live these values every day.

There is a vacancy for a talented, motivated self-starter to be QCT’s new Operations Administrator. You will work closely with the Operations team to help oversee the efficient day to day operation of the charity. You will ensure that all communication channels run smoothly, including drafting correspondence, managing email inboxes and providing excellent administrative support to a small, fast-paced and committed team. Opportunities will arise to get involved in events and projects from time to time. As part of a fast-evolving team, this role offers variety and scope for personal development.
