The Road Safety Trust is the leading independent funder of road safety research and practical interventions to reduce death and injury on the roads in the United Kingdom. Since April 2016, it has supported 35 projects amounting to just over £2m.
The Chief Executive is the public face of the Road Safety Trust and its trading subsidiary, UKROEd. The post holder is central to the network of relationships both inside and outside the organisation and responsible for the overall effectiveness of the Trust and its subsidiary.
The current Chief Executive will step down early in 2018. The trustees are seeking to appoint a replacement to take the Trust to the next stage of its strategic development.
January 12 2018: Closing date for receipt of applications
Week commencing February 19: Interviews and confirmation by full Board
June 1 2018: New Chief Executive commences in post
Interviews will be conducted by a panel of Trustees and are likely to be held in London.
