Associate Director of Development
Chalk Farm, London
This is an exciting time for a talented, creative and experienced fundraiser to both shape and help secure the next chapter in the Roundhouse’s story.
As one of the most iconic music and arts venues in the world, the Roundhouse is more importantly a home to young people. Each year we give thousands of 11-25 year olds the chance to develop their skills and confidence through creativity – in music, media or the performing arts.
The Roundhouse has ambitious but achievable plans for growth, aiming to increase the number of young people we directly work with to over 10,000 annually in the next few years. To enable us to achieve this we have exciting plans to build a new Campus building on site which will house three new studios and a creative and digital centre for entrepreneurs.
This newly created position of Associate Director of Development will take responsibility for achieving the revenue targets as well as leading the team to deliver a transformational fundraising strategy over the next three years. The post holder will play a critical role in completing the capital fundraising target which will enable us to expand our work with young people.
As a powerful and sophisticated influencer with vision, originality and credibility, you will swiftly gain the confidence of senior stakeholders by demonstrating your significant track record of high value fundraising – specifically philanthropy at the 6-figure level or more. Critical to your success will be your strategic approach and ability to both capitalise on the strength and networks of the Board, Development Board, and that of relationships with existing individual supporters. If you are a confident manager that can drive a team to achieve results with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for young people and the arts, you will thrive in this role.
Closing date for applications is 10am, 3rd June and the first interview will be on the 5th June.
