About The National Memorial Arboretum
The Arboretum is the UK’s year-round centre of Remembrance and part of The Royal British Legion. Home to over 350 memorials, including the nationally-important Armed Forces Memorial, it remembers the service and sacrifice of those who have served and continue to serve our country. The 150-acre site features around 30,000 maturing trees and an abundance of wildlife. Each year the Arboretum welcomes around 300,000 visitors, many of whom attend one of the 200+ events which take place across the site.
In March 2017, the National Memorial Arboretum formally opened its new award-winning Remembrance Centre.

We are looking for an exceptional manager to lead the National Memorial Arboretum Foodservices Team. You will manage all areas of activity in the Restaurant, Coffee Shop and Aspects Events Centre; be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food and service delivery for our visitors; optimise the financial contribution across all catering service outlets; and ensure compliance of Food Safety and Health and Safety legislation.
The National Memorial Arboretum celebrated its 20th Anniversary earlier this year and currently welcomes over 300,000 visitors each year. The Foodservices Team provide catering across multiple outlets including a 280 cover self-serve restaurant, table waited functions up to 500 attendees, barista served coffee shop, ‘pop up’ food outlets within the grounds of the Arboretum and hospitality. This is a varied and exciting opportunity to lead a passionate and dedicated team in a place that matters.
