Salary: £37,436 per annum (£32,984 plus £4,452 London Weighting)

The Legion is seeking to recruit a Legacy Officer to work within the Fundraising Directorate. The Legacy Officer role will be responsible for a caseload that includes pecuniary, residuary and reversionary legacies requiring the efficient and pro-active management of legacy cases in which The Royal British Legion receives a legacy or bequest, ensuring that the charity receives its full and correct entitlements and that the organisation reputation is protected.
You should demonstrate solid experience of legacy administration and an understanding of probate law. You must be well organised, highly numerate with an excellent eye for detail. Excellent written and verbal communication is essential. Substantial experience and use of a database are essential; knowledge of FirstClass 4 would be highly desirable but is not a requirement.
