Salary: £46,000 per annum (plus London weighting £4452 if applicable)

The Role

 

The IM&T Directorate is going through an exciting period of change in our role as an enabling strategic service to help deliver the RBL's “One Legion Strategy”.

 

Reporting to the Head of IM&T Projects. We are seeking two Senior IT Business Partners to serve as the strategic interface within assigned business unit or functional area for the purpose of business technology strategy development, IT adoption, solution discovery, risk management, budget development and customer relationship management. Serve as a lead role in enabling the business to achieve their strategic objectives through the effective adoption of technology.

 

You will proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build a competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units and eliminate duplicity. Partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities, consistency of approach, identify and prioritise projects based on predefined criteria (e.g. return on investment, efficiency gain, productivity, compliance), in order to support the One Legion strategy.

 

You will provide a highly valued strategic consultancy service through key IT initiatives. Communicate decisions, priorities, and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests, projects and initiatives. Establishing the IT Business Partner role as high performing, trusted and value-adding service, establishing excellent customer relationships with key business stakeholders and other parts of the organisation as required.

Whilst the role is based at home (UK Mainland) there will be some travel requirements to RBL offices.
