Job Description

Education and Training Co-ordinator (Skills)

Full time, permanent position

Salary:  £29,993 to £34,145 per annum (appointments are usually made at £29,993)

Hours: 35 per week

The Royal College of Ophthalmologists ensures that the highest achievable standards of eye care are delivered for patients through excellence in the training, education and assessment of eye doctors and their continuing professional development. 

The College is currently seeking an Education and Training Coordinator to run its skills courses and provide high level administrative support. The Education and Training Coordinator will be fully responsible for the operation of the Skills Centre and the administration of the Microsurgical Skills and other practical courses. The post holder will also undertake other administrative duties in consultation with the Head of Education and Training.

The successful candidate will be a proven administrator who can work flexibly with a varied workload and is well organised. The post holder will work well as part of a team, have excellent, all round communication and interpersonal skills, and be able work on their own initiative.
