How to apply
Training Projects Officer - £37,535 per annum – Central London – Full Time – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
The Training Projects Officer sits within the RCR’s Education Directorate and works on, and in some cases leads, a range of projects and activities to: support improvements to the recording and use of training records; support improvements to associated business processes; support innovations in examinations.
The Education Directorate is responsible for all aspects of the RCR’s work that relate to the training of clinical radiologists and clinical oncologists in preparation for becoming consultants, and the provision of career-long continuing professional development. Doctors enrol with the RCR and stay as members throughout their training in clinical radiology and clinical oncology. They are required to pass our FRCR examinations in the course of their training. In September 2018 we introduced a new e-portfolio for trainees to use to demonstrate progress and later this year a new RCR-wide CRM system will go live. We need a project officer to take forward a range of activities to ensure we make best use of these new systems in our training work. This includes: completing planned work on the e-portfolio and preparing to adapt it further to fit with new curricula and assessment formats; supporting the streamlining of operations and data-driven processes; coordinating the Education Directorate needs for the integration of the CRM, e-portfolio, examinations and e-learning systems. You don’t need to be an IT professional, but you will be comfortable with making best use of technology and working with IT teams and suppliers.
