The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten ‘Homes from Home’. Hospital can be a lonely and scary place for anyone, but especially a child. By providing families with somewhere to stay together just minutes from their child they have one less thing to worry about.
We support over 3,500 families each year at a time when everything is uncertain. We give them some stability in their day-to-day life.
The charity consists of approximately 50 staff spread between our “Homes from Home” and our London Head Office. In a recent staff survey staff, we had brilliant feedback and were particularly pleased that staff said they were proud to work for the charity. This role reports to the Corporate Partnership Manager and is part of a larger fundraising team, the majority of which are based at our Head Office.
About the Role
The Corporate Partnerships Officer will play a key role in providing account management to our existing partner relationships to ensure that the business objectives and income targets are achieved. You will also be responsible for supporting the Corporate Partnerships Manager to secure new business and diversify our current corporate portfolio.
The work is varied and you will ensure an engaging and motivating supporter journey for corporate supporters and play a key role in co-ordinating corporate volunteer days.
You are highly motivated individual with excellent networking, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to make confident presentations. You are tenacious, and resilient enabling you to maximise income from corporate opportunities.
You possess the organisational skills to manage multiple projects and the understanding and literacy skills to produce audience appropriate fundraising materials. Successful fundraising / corporate partnership experience is essential.
